BASKETBALL BACKSTOP STRUCTURES

We offer inspection and maintenance for all types of basketball backstop structures in your gymnasium including wall mounted, ceiling suspended, retractable, side fold, stationary as well as portable units.

Inspections / Maintenance consist of the following:
1. Inspecting the basket for ware and testing breakaway goals for proper function.
2. Ensuring basket and backboard is regulation height and adjusting as needed.
3. Checking the backboard for plumb
4. Inspecting CIF safety compliance of the backboard, goal, and padding for as required.
5. Inspecting all the structural hardware and replace or tighten as needed.
6. Inspecting all the assembly hardware of the structure and tightening or replacing as needed.
7. Lubricating all pulleys, pivot points, and related mechanisms
8. Inspecting the Winch assemblies for condition and attachments.
9. Inspecting the hoist cable that supports the structure.
10. Adjust all limit switches in winches as needed
11. Test-operate and inspect switches or key pads for electric winches
12. Inspect all safety strap mechanisms, if so equipped, for proper function.
13. Test all operation of all backboard systems

Upon the completion of our inspection, we will prepare and submit to you a detailed report of the services performed and the condition of each structure, along with any recommendations for safety upgrades, repairs, or rule change requirements.
